APhA-ASP (American Pharmacists Association – Academy of Student Pharmacists) is a national organization known to be the largest pharmacist association in the United States. Among the 62,000 members, one of the major members of the association are student pharmacists.
At Rutgers, our mission is to be the collective voice of student pharmacist, to provide opportunities for professional growth, to improve patient care, and to envision and advance the future of pharmacy.
For our current APhA-ASP members, APhA-ASP means a lot of things to us and has shaped who we are as student pharmacists. Each of us has had a unique how-I-came-to-love-APhA-story and now we want YOU to feel the same!
Take a look at the handy GIM welcome packet above. Note that the upcoming training marathon dates are included within the packet! Ask questions about the MANY MANY OPPORTUNITIES we have for you, participate in one, two, or ALL of committees and make a difference in our community through patient care and community outreach programs, professional development and pharmacy advocacy.
It is never too early or too late to get involved, have fun, and join Rutgers APhA-ASP to begin your legacy!
